Directions in Project Delivery: Project Alliances are gaining
ground in Australia. The concept is that of a risk-sharing collaborative
that focuses on the project
itself rather than the competing interests of designers, builders,
and owners. In an alliance contract, the parties agree to collective
performance obligations and sharing of risks and rewards. Central
management is provided by a project alliance board that supports
